Yesterday I was so very blessed with a package from

a sweet friend that I have never met in person :)

I was in awe at how well she knew me in the gifts that

she made ~ They brought tears to my eyes !

She made 2 cosmetic bags because she wasn't sure

which I would like the best ( I love them both !! )

and a rose cuff bracelet that is beautiful ! ~

They are just gorgeous gorgeous !! She even handmade

the embellishment on the top of the bags and put

a little mirror on the inside flap ~

I am thrilled because she is going to make some for

my online boutique !!!

Yay !!! We have had wonderful warm weather the last couple of days soooo I recruited my sweet husband to paint ~ he has been painting a bunch of wonderful things that I have found at flea markets and estate sales over the last couple of weeks ~ they would make awesome gifts for Christmas coming soon or they would be perfect for your shabby cottage chic decor ~ Here is an example of a few things we have added to Katies Rose Cottage but there is a bunch more there ~

Oh my goodness it has been tooo long since

I have done a blog post !!

I cannot believe how fast time flies !

Yesterday I took all of the new stuff I have

been working on and some of my recent Canton finds

outside to take pictures ~

I love to take them outside because there is about a half hour

in the day when the sun is just right ~

Well I am primping and clicking away and then

came in to download my pictures ~

AHHHHHH my camera died !! Not one of the pictures came out

and of course I had not been checking them along the way ~

I am not sure why ~

Sooooo I have really loved my Canon Rebel but I am going to

see if I can find a little camera that will take great close ups

but that will also be handy to carry with me places ~

I just got done adding some wonderful new items to Katies Rose Cottage ~

We also listed some gorgeous handmade rose ribbon pins that have a wonderful vintage look ~ I love these because they can be used to embellish clothes as well as purses or gifts ~

The last thing that I wanted to show you are these awesome pink rose buckets that are in the Romantic Home category ~ this is one of my favorite collaged prints so I was so excited to find these ~

We had my two daughter's baby shower
yesterday and I just wanted to
share some pictures of the day with you ~
My son in law, James took them for us ~
It is awesome to have a
wonderful photographer for
a son in law!

Both girls love the vintage look
so that was the theme of the shower ~
That was fun because I love it!

I received one of the most special gifts today from a precious friend ~ I met Linda at Canton's First Monday about 4 years ago while drooling over her mosaic conservatories, windows, chairs and other gorgeous mosaic treasures ~ I always take my mom and my sister by her booth too when they are visiting from California ( they plan their trips around First Monday ) because they love her things too~

I was very humbled when I received my beautiful mosaic sign in the mail ~ it is beautiful ~ Wow ! I am pretty much speachless !
