Clay Boy by Mirra Ginsburg- This book is funny---a boy made of clay gobbles up a whole village. It is great for reading at the end of class when doing a clay project!
The Pot that Juan Built by Nancy Andrews-Goebel—This book is a little long, but you can read parts of it while doing a clay lesson.
Parade Lesson
First Night by Harriet Ziefert—This book is about a New Years Parade---beautiful illustrations and easy to read aloud.
