Monster Lesson
Monster Math by Anne Miranda—A counting book; easy to read, and has such cool monster illustrations

Clay Books

Clay Boy by Mirra Ginsburg- This book is funny---a boy made of clay gobbles up a whole village. It is great for reading at the end of class when doing a clay project!

The Pot that Juan Built by Nancy Andrews-Goebel—This book is a little long, but you can read parts of it while doing a clay lesson.

Parade Lesson
First Night by Harriet Ziefert—This book is about a New Years Parade---beautiful illustrations and easy to read aloud.

Neighborhood Lesson

My Street by Rebecca Treays—Not the best book for read aloud, but it has nice fold out pictures

Flock of Birds Lesson
Feathers for Lunch by Lois Elhert—A wonderful read aloud book!
